If you’ve checked out this blog before, you probably know that I’m training for the Nike Women’s Half Marathon. To see all of the details regarding Team in Training and my decision to do this, please go here.
This page is specifically for my fundraising project. My biggest interests are nutrition and health, and I am exploring those intensively this summer by training for a half marathon, cooking constantly in my kitchen, blogging my meals, and working as a nutrition intern. I decided to combine all of those hobbies and create a cookbook and nutrition guide. The cookbook contains lots of helpful nutrition information and tips (such as what to keep in your pantry and tips for healthy restaurant dining), many meal/snack ideas, and over 45 recipes in 40 pages. It’s available as a full color PDF document (there are lots of photos!) for only $10. 100% of those proceeds go directly to my Team in Training fundraising.
How to do it: visit my secure fundraising website here (or by clicking the Team in Training logo), and make your donation. It’s extremely easy to make a donation with a credit or debit card. (Plus, all donations are 100% tax-deductible!) Make sure you include your e-mail address when making your donation (there’s a field for it), and when your donation comes through I’ll send off the cookbook. If you have any questions, please leave a comment on this page.
