Strange Cravings

Normally in the summer I don’t eat too much hot oatmeal for breakfast. After I’ve worked out or showered, it usually isn’t too appealing. But today for some reason it was!

I woke up and had my fill of Jillian Michaels with the 30 Day Shred—I better keep at it this week because my monthly body measurement date (the 28th) is coming up! I’m really hoping for positive results again. After I showered and packed a lunch (which you’ll see a little later), I whipped up some oats.

1/2 cup of oats, 1/2 cup of skim milk, 1/2 cup of water, some cinnamon, a sliced banana, and a nice tablespoon of almond butter. I was worried about how this bowl would fill me since my breakfasts usually have different textures and more components, but with the almond butter and banana in there it was delicious! I need to work oatmeal back into the normal rotation again.
