Man, this has been the best week for breakfasts.
I guess I’m really taking advantage of my own kitchen…
I took inspiration from Meghann the other day and had a warm breakfast. See how good that looks?!

I started with half a Gala apple, which I cut up and microwaved for about a minute with tons of cinnamon. Next came a very healthy serving of Kashi Heart to Heart, some chopped walnuts, and milk. This really was amazing. The apples were soft and sweet, plus they warmed up the whole bowl. For some reason, this was extremely filling. Possibly because of the apple rather than the banana I usually have?

And lunch was another winner.
I was out for a long time this morning, so I was starving and this absolutely hit the spot. I used some black beans (leftover from my burger the other day) as the base. I scrambled up a whole egg and an egg white then stirred in some chopped cherry tomatoes and the beans to warm everything up. I wrapped it up in a whole wheat wrap and (even though it split) I loved it.

I microwaved the wrap for a few seconds while the other stuff was cooking, so everything was warm and oozy and tasty. Plus, it literally took less than five minutes to make.
What are some of y’all’s favorite quick lunches when you’re hungry?

That’s such a geat way to use Kashi H2H. It’s probably my all-time favorite cereal, so I’ll definitely have to try that one out!
